Exclusive: Mother stabs lover of teenage daughter after bathing him with pepper mixture

A bizarre incident happened at the Airport Road Area of Warri by Ijaw Quarters when a mother of four children allegedly bathed her 17-year old daughter’s lover, Ovie with pepper mixture and subsequently stabbed him with particles of broken plate on his shoulder, Fresh Angle International can exclusively report.

Our Correspondent reports that the incident happened at about 6:15PM, Wednesday October 19, when the angry mother left her home in Udu Local Government Area in search of her daughter, who reportedly absconded from home two weeks before the incident. Suspecting that her daughter may have moved to live with the boyfriend, Ovie after the boy was reportedly sent packing from his former Udu residence by the Landlord over his sexual escapade with the under-age girl.

The angry mother left her Udu home with a prepared pepper mixture and stormed the new home of Ovie. Inside sources say the woman’s daughter only left Ovie’s home few minutes earlier after one of the usual battery from Ovie, when her mother came into the Airport Road premises where Ovie resides. While she was asking neighbours to know the exact home of Ovie, she sighted Ovie and lured him into his house. Few minutes later, neighbours started hearing yelling from Ovie’s apartment after hot exchanges. Before people around could know what happened, the girl’s mother had bathed Ovie with prepared pepper mixture and subsequently stabbed him on his shoulder after neutralizing him with the pepper.

The girl’s mother who showed no remorse, reportedly told Ovie’s neighbours that it was as a result of the sexual abuse her daughter suffered from Ovie in their Udu residence that he was asked to leave their Udu premises by the property owner, adding that Ovie allegedly charmed her daughter.

But in swift reaction, the victim (Ovie) claimed that he and the woman’s daughter have been lovers since 2010 when they were living in the same premises, saying they started dating when the girl was 12 years old.

Meanwhile, a Crane Operator by the name Blessing who worked during the Escravos Gas to Liquid Project, EGTL, but now runs a private cab business was about 9:00PM Wednesday October 19 hit on his cheek by the bullet of a trigger happy soldier.

The unidentified soldier allegedly attached to the Army Unit at Warri Prisons along Okere Road, Warri, reportedly went to a joint where Indian hemp and other illicit stuffs are sold to “see” the owner.

Apparently frustrated with the response of the joint owner, the soldier whose usual expectation was not met, threatened to shoot anybody. While the disagreement ensued, the soldier pulled his trigger and shot straight-on, only for the bullet to hit the cheek of Blessing who was standing at the Oki Street Junction of Esisi Road, Warri.

Reports say, Blessing was immediately rushed to Central Hospital Warri, where he was referred to Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara. He was subsequently referred to University of Benin Teaching Hospital in Edo State, where he was responding to treatment as at the time of this report.
