Bubbling with the zeal to eradicate all forms of crimes, Delta State Police Command has arrested twelve teenage students of Osadenis High School, Asaba, Delta State for alleged involvement in cultism and other related acts, Fresh Angle International can report..

Our Delta North Correspondent reports that the Command has arrested a fake Policeman and discovered caliber explosive devices in Ndokwa axis, intended to bomb Agip Oil Company in the area.

Briefing Journalists in Asaba, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zanna Ibrahim, said the teenagers were arrested on a tip-off during initiation of a new cult group identified as “future trigger boys”, adding the suspects upon interrogation confessed to the crime.

He said that investigation of their involvement in the cult activities was ongoing as the police will leave no stones unturned to bring to book all secret cult members in the State.

On the recovered caliber improvised explosive devices, CP Ibrahim said it was uncovered by Officers of State Criminal Investigating Department, SCID, stating that his men acted on a tip-off following the attempt by some disgruntled persons to bomb Agip Oil Installation in Kwale axis. He quipped that the following were recovered: two 4.1 liter containers, eight 5.1 liter containers, two electric detonators, three non electric detonators, four strands of cortex as preliminary investigation revealed that the IED’s were to be utilized against Agip facilities.

On the fake Policeman, the Police Boss said that the suspect identified as Chiemeka Telvin, a 43-year old dismissed from the Police Force in 2006, adding that since then he had been indulging on illegal activities, especially, hanging out as escort to high profile businessmen and women who unknowingly reward him with huge sums of money before nemesis caught up with him.

But in a swift response to Journalists’ questions, the suspect admitted that he had been doing illegal activities with the police uniform to eke a living for himself and family members.

On human trafficking, the CP said Detectives at child stealing/human trafficking unit in Umutu Police Division, arrested one Emmanuel Udeagwu, a 37-year old, of Ogbe-ofu Quarters, Issele-Uku, Celestina Enebeli,a 38-year old of Isunpe, Utagba-unor, Ndokwa West both from Delta State for alleged human trafficking and recovered, one Miracle Ifeakam, a 4-year old, of Ebedei Adonishaka, Ukwuani Local Government Area and Master Precious Uchendu, a 6-year old of Ebedei Adonishaka, Ukwuani Local Government Area, both from Delta State adding that the suspects would be charged to court on completion of investigation.

He also disclosed that four kidnap suspects were arrested by Police Detectives attached to the State Police Command on a tip-off and gave their names as follows: Malarchy Chikwado, 28-year old, of No.10, Okocha Street, Cable Point, Asaba, Delta State, John Obi, 22-year old, of No. 22, Femi-Okun Estate, Lekki, Lagos State, Osita Obiakwe, 24-year old, of No. 4 Jarret Street, Ogbe-ofu, Asaba and Ezeah Chinedu, 36-year old, of Uzowani, Igbueze, Enugu State, adding that their victim Okpoke Michael 26-year old, of Victor Iweka Street, Bonsac, Asaba was rescued by the Police unhurt.

He said that the suspects will be charged to court on completion of investigations.
