Chairman and Managing Director of Chevron Nigeria Limited, Mr. Jeff Ewing says the International Oil Companies, IOCs need the right government policies in place to stop right sizing occasioned by the crisis in the crude oil and gas Industry, so as to grow the sector and create more jobs for Nigerians.
The Chevron Boss made the assertion Wednesday March 1 at Abuja during a panel discussion of Chief Executives of IOCs in the ongoing Nigeria Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition.
Mr. Ewing who noted that his company allows” the local communities to be part of our operations”, stated that Chevron was looking at saving cost in crude oil production.
While asserting that CNL is determined to collaborate with government to grow the oil industry, Mr. Ewing stressed that IOCs operating in Nigeria have improved corporation between themselves in the last seven years.
