Direct Mogbeyiteren to vacate office, Aginejuone tells Warri Monarch

One-time Interim Chairman of Omadino Community in Warri South Local Government Area, Oritseweyinmi Emmanuel Agbonekuya Aginejuone, has appealed to the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, to direct the Chairman of Omadino Community, Mr. Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren and other members of his executive to vacate office in the next 13days.

Aginejuone, who made the appeal in a letter dated Friday September 11 and addressed to the Warri Monarch, said it was the turn of his quarter, Eghorokwerin, to produce the next Chairman of Omadino Community.

Whilst stating that Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren, have overstayed “in the governance of Omadino Community”, Aginejuone, accused Mogbeyiteren of an agenda to “illegally continue to remain as Chairman of Omadino Community, in total disregard to the directives of His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III”.

The letter reads inter-alia:

“A Call To Prevail On Mr. Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren And His Executives To Perpetually Remain In Power And For My Quarter Eghorokwerin Quarter To Produce The Next Chairman Of Omadino Community

I am Oritseweyinmi Emmanuel Agbonekuya Aginejuone and I write as a concerned 

Indigene of Omadino Community, from Eghorokwerin Quarter and also a one-time Interim 

Chairman of Omadino Community. 

This Petition is brought against TUOYO MOGBEYITEREN and his EXECUTIVES of the 

Omadino Community in Warri South Local Government Area. 

The Tenure of TUOYO MOGBEYITEREN as the Chairman of Omadino Community started four (4) years ago, precisely on the 25^th of September, 2022 and it is to end by this 

September 24^th 2026. The Tenure ought to end by or after Four (4) years.

There are three (3) Quarters in Omadino Community, namely; (1) Ogborogboro Quarter 

(2)Eghorokwerin Quarter and (3) Otumara Quarter. The chairmanship of the Omadino 

Community rotates among these three Quarters in Omadino Community. 

Ogiame, TUOYO MOGBEYITEREN is from Ogborogboro Quarter of Omadino 

Community, having ruled with Austin Oniyesan as Chairman and Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren as 

Secretary for over 28 years, it calls for concern at this time and it is the turn of my Quarter 

Eghorokwerin Quarter, to produce the next Chairman of the Omadino Community. Like the parable in Itsekiri ‘Ama kpe ni origho itsu tsu ju da ka ri iden’ meaning if one stay too much while defecating, he sees worm. Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren have overstayed in the Governance of Omadino Community, let him take a bow with respect and leave.

Ogiame, it is approximately 13 days for the tenure of TUOYO MOGBEYITEREN to be 

over, but there are no arrangements and preparations for him to leave for the 

Eghorokwerin Quarter to produce the next Chairman of Omadino Community. 

It is clear, Ogiame, that Mr. TUOYO MOGBEYITEREN’s agenda is to perpetuate himself 

to illegally continue to remain as chairman of Omadino Community in total disregard to 

the directives of His Royal Majesty, which mandated the Chairmanship tenure to be 

Four(4) years. 

Ogiame, any attempt by Mr. TUOYO MOGBEYITEREN to get a second tenure of four (4) years, will amount to depriving Eghorokwerin Quarter the right to produce the next Chairman of Omadino Community and this will in turn create an enabling ground for Mr. TUOYO 

MOGBEYITEREN to perpetuate himself as a life chairman, just like the past Chairman 

Austin Oniyesan ‘Gbokwa’ made himself a life chairman for more than 28 years until his 

death. 

Your Royal Majesty Sir, any opportunity to create a monster just like the past Chairman 

Austin Oniyesan ‘Gbokwa’ should be discouraged and ought to be nipped in its bud. 

MY HUMBLE QUESTS 

1. Your Royal Majesty should direct Mr. TUOYO MOGBEYITEREN and his executives to leave as their tenure expires 13 days from today, for the Eghorokwerin Quarter to produce the next Chairman of Omadino Community. 

2. That all quarters should go amicably to go and produce their executives.

3. And if that is not done with respect, it will give birth to litigation.

In light of the totality of the foregoing, I hereby call on Your Royal Majesty to use your good office to tackle the aforementioned issues, in order to avoid tensions in Omadino community.

While I humbly expect a favourable reaction of your Royal Majesty to this Petition, please accept the assurances of my highest regards.
