Appointing your In-law Pension Chairman is misnomer, PDP knocks Bello
Governor Yahaya Bello

The National Coordinator, PDP Youth Frontiers, Comrade Austin Okai has described Governor Yahaya Bello’s appointment of Hajia Hadiza Atimah, his alleged sister in-law as the new substantive chairman of the Kogi State Pension Board as misnomer.

He said Governor Bello’s appointee, an Accountant with the State Ministry of Finance lacks credibility to head the office.

A statement released to journalists in Lokoja, Kogi State, Monday August 28 by Okai described the whole action as a misnomer, unqualified and a gross abuse of public confidence on the governor

?Okai said the appointment of a level 12 accountant to head the State Pension Board will further worsen the ?deliberate efforts of the state government to starve the pensioners

Our Correspondent reports that Comrade Okai alleged that the appointment was to encourage kill and divide ?pattern, saying the new Chairman lacks the prerequisite qualification required for the office

Okai urged the governor to reverse the appointment without further delay? and declared that he will mobilize Kogi pensioners ?to reject the appointment.
