Worried by the declining standard of education in public schools across the country, particularly in Delta State, the National Association of Itsekiri Graduates, NAIG has disclosed plans to organize an “Inter Collegiate Quiz & Debate Competition” for public schools in Warri Kingdom come 2018.

The Cheque is for the May/June 2018 WAEC/SSCE enrolment of seven indigent students of Itsekiri extraction in Erejuwa 2 Grammar School.

Fresh Angle International learned that a total of 100 indigent students of Itsekiri extraction, cutting across secondary schools in Warri South, Warri North, Warri South-West and Sapele Local Government Areas have been selected for the NAIG 2018 WAEC/ SSCE enrolment.

In a remark at Erejuwa 2 Grammar School, Comrade Edema noted that the educational support programme for the underprivileged students is the beginning of a process to encourage Itsekiri students with a view to boosting the standard of education.

The seven students that will benefit from the largesse at Erejuwa 2 Grammar School are: Iyonsi Olamire, Olley Vivian, Newe Jessica, Ajeoritsedere Joshua, Metsaghanrun Tseyi, Okorodudu Jennifer and Ofofo Precious.
