Address neglect of our female youths, Okpe PDP Women leader begs Okowa

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Women Leader in Okpe Local Government Area, Mrs. Angela Oseahweke has appealed to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa to address the long years of perceived neglect of female Okpe youths in the state government.

Mrs. Oseahweke made the appeal during the hosting of Delta State PDP Women Leader, Mrs. Kawulie Omoko at Orerokpe, headquarters of Okpe Local Government Area Thursday July 26.

She described PDP women in Okpe as unique members of the party and acknowledged that their success was a result of the women leaders’ support to the growth of PDP in the Local Government Area.

In her remark, the Delta State PDP Women Leader, Mrs. Kawulie Omoko commended the Okpe Women and assured them of more dividends of democracy from the state government.

Mrs. Kawulie commended the governor for sustaining free Medicare for all pregnant women across the State.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that others who spoke at the event were: wife of the Chairman of Okpe Local Government Area, Mrs. Eunice Jessa Scott, PDP Chairman, Okpe LGA, Chief Efe Uko, Chief Tom Amioku, Chief (Mrs.) Itebu, first female Chairman of Okpe LGA, Chief (Mrs.) Lizzy Opukene as well as Hon. Francis Okan.
