Four Delta South APC Senatorial Aspirants, Messrs.: Temisan Omatseye, AVM. Terry Okorodudu (Rtd.) Chief Michael Johnny and Evans Omatsoguwa have described the purported clearance of former Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan as the sole aspirant to contest for the Delta South Senatorial Seat under the platform of APC as fake news, vowing not to allow imposition of Dr. Uduaghan as candidate without the party primary.

Fresh Angle International can report that a statement credited to the Acting National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Yekini Nabena on Tuesday, October 2, purportedly released list of cleared aspirants to contest senatorial positions across the country, with Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan being the only name published as a cleared aspirant for Delta South Senatorial District.

The APC Delta South Senatorial aspirants made the declaration unanimously at Oleh Isoko South Local Government Area in Delta State, Tuesday October 2 during a joint press conference.

While stressing that the senatorial primary did not hold at Oleh as scheduled, the aggrieved aspirants, expressed dismay over the way and manner the party is handling the primary without communicating to them on the way forward.

According to them, they were cleared by the APC National headquarters to contest, just as they called on the National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the National Working Committee of the party to be careful, proactive and do the needful so as to prevent crisis in Delta South APC.

Indications have emerged that the APC Delta South Senatorial primary originally scheduled for Tuesday October 2, will hold Wednesday October 3, at the same venue in Oleh, amid the growing controversy.
