Election: Group Petitions IGP, accuses LG Administrator of stockpiling arms

A Socio Cultural Group in Yagba West Local Government Area, Kogi State, ‘Omo Ti  Wa  ni’ has petitioned the Acting Inspector General of Police and other security agencies on the need to place surveillance on the Administrator of Yagba West Local Government Area, Hon. Timi Joseph, over allegations of arms stockpiling in his Egbe residence ahead of the Presidential and National Assembly elections billed for this weekend.

 

Fresh Angle International can report that the petition which copied other sister security agencies, claimed that the administrator was planning to unleash mayhem on the people of Yagba West Local Government Area.

 

The socio political organization in their petition signed by Dickson Oyewole Malomo, said if not checked, Hon. Joseph will cause violence in the impending polls.

 

According to the group, the administrator is purportedly working on the instruction of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and he reportedly vowed to ensure that Yagba West is won by the All Progressives Congress, APC.

 

The group equally copied the Chairman of Yagba West Traditional Counci,l urging the Elegbe of Egbe to intervene with a view to forestalling breakdown of law and other.

 

The Administrator who is alleged to have imported thugs into Egbe ahead of the election could not be reached for comment by your Soaring International Tabloid as at the time of this report as he was said to be in Lokoja, even as his phone was also switched off.
