Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, has described the appointment of Warri South PDP leader, Chief Joseph Otumara, as Chairman of Warri, Uvwie and environs Development Agency, WUDA, as timely and strong indication of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s resolve to truly bring Warri, Uvwie and environs, up-to-speed with other modern cities in terms of urban renewal.
Dr. Tidi who hinged his optimism on Chief Otumara’s antecedent as former Local Government Chairman amid obvious challenges associated with grassroots governance, posited that Chief Otumara will not just lay the proper foundation for take-off of the board, but ensure even development of Warri, Uvwie and environs, in synergy with Governor Okowa’s policy of building a stronger Delta State.
The Warri South Local Government Chief Executive, assured of his administration’s support for the Chief Otumara led board in the quest at making Warri South Local Government Area, example of a true Oil City.
