DBS Warri gets N2.5milllion monthly IGR mandate

The Management of Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS, Warri, has been given a mandate to raise the monthly internally generated revenue, IGR, of the station to 2.5million naira monthly with effect from September 2019, Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report.

 

The mandate was handed down by the new Delta State Commissioner for information, Mr. Charles Ehiedu Aniagwu, Wednesday August 28, when he paid a working visit to the state owned media.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that Mr. Aniagwu explained that the essence of the IGR target, was to enable the broadcast outfit take care of its immediate needs, without waiting for handouts from the state government.

 

Aniagwu, a veteran broadcaster, noted that if DBS Warri enriches its programme content, the ministry of information would consider hooking up the station to GoTV platform.

                                                                                                      

 

The Acting General Manager, DBS Warri, Pst. Malcolm Oteri, assured the state government that efforts were on-going to improve the output of the station.
