The Police in Kwale, Delta State have arrested a 42- year old man, Mba Eze .M. for operating an illegal private hospital at Kwale town in Ndokwa West local government.
The suspect, Mba Eze .M. whose clinic, St. Louis Hospital Kwale was immediately shut down, admitted to confessing the crime and revealed that he forged a National Youth Service Corp, NYSC certificate and a degree from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State to enable him practice as a medical doctor.
According to a statement by the Police, the suspect was arrested when one Ebiokpa Alfred. M. of the Delta State Ministry of Health, Asaba who was on routine inspection reported at Kwale Police Station that on the 18th of March at about 8:30am, he discovered that one Mba Eze .M. was operating an illegal hospital.
The statement added that the suspect who also admitted that he did not undergo the mandatory one-year houseman-ship is already being investigated and will soon be arraigned in court.
