‘Hunger’, ‘no money’, top reaction as Our Editor drops poke on zero-chat on Whatsapp groups

A cross section of reactions that trailed a poke “Breaking: Everywhere is quiet on WhatsApp”, posted by Our Editor In-Chief/Co-Publisher at about 1:00pm today, Tuesday November 16, on the unusual silence in most of the Whatsapp Groups he belongs, attracted interesting comments, ranging from perceived depression and lack of money.

 

While Onyeka Adudu, who didn’t mind being referenced, posted: “Everywhere should be quiet because people are depressed”, a tutor, John Egidi, stated: “Better for all of us”.

 

A certain Don T, reacted: “Talk too much and no money to do anything and the things on ground need better money and connection”, even as another person specified: “Lol. Hunger and Christmas worries”.

 

A journalist countered: “Who tell you Tony. CDS (apparently referring to the Chief of Defence Staff, who was at NNS Delta, Warri) dey near your office o”.
