Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Warri South and Warri South-West, serving Councilors, delegates and other critical stakeholders of the party, have reportedly endorsed the return bid of the member representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Chief (Dr. Thomas Ereyitomi, ahead of the PDP primary.
Our Senior Correspondent reports that the endorsement of Chief Ereyitomi, came on the heels of his consultation with leaders and delegates of Warri South and Warri South-West in Warri, Monday April 11.
Warri South PDP leader and Chairman of Warri, Uvwie and Environs Development Agency, WUEDA, Chief (Dr.) Joseph Otumara, assured that all PDP delegates in Warri Federal Constituency, will vote for Chief Ereyitomi in the primary, saying, “Chief Ereyitomi, has proven a lot of people wrong, with his super performance in the House of Representatives”.
"Ereyitomi is the man for the job, he's the man to be reelected for Warri Federal Constituency again in 2023". Chief Otumara stressed.
Deputy Leader of Warri South Legislative Arm, Hon. Oris Eyikimi, who spoke on behalf of Councilors in Warri South Council, assured Chief Ereyitomi that he and his colleagues, will “deliver” him at the party primary and the main election come 2023.
The member representing Warri South-West Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, stated that Chief Ereyitomi’s reelection was a done deal, saying they are only waiting for 'a yes' voice vote come May 12, to reaffirm Chief Ereyitomi’s mandate and candidacy.

Chairman of PDP, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Chief Favour Izuokumor, described Chief Ereyitomi as a detribalized Nigerian, assuring him that the party won't be biased to anyone.
According to Chief Izuokumor, the voice of the people has spoken, commending Chief Ereyitomi for meeting with PDP leaders and delegates in Warri South-West Local Government Area.
Pioneer member of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Dr.) Patrick Fregene, Chief Frank Omare, Vice Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area, Hon. Arthur Akpodubakaye, Chief David Pere, Chief Samson Bramor JP, Prince Moses Fregene, Chief Edwin Olley and Chief Boro Opudu, reiterated the need for Chief Ereyitomi to return to the House of Representatives, saying he has performed beyond expectations.
While addressing the PDP leaders and delegates, Chief Ereyitomi, said he came to seek for their support in the quest to renew his mandate and appealed to them “to do it again”, stressing that with the mandate given him, he has shown capacity and competence, representing Warri Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
Leader of Warri South-West Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Emiko Odin-Etuwewe and other members of the Council’s Legislative Arm, in a unanimous voice vote, adopted Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, assuring him of their readiness to vote for him.

Alfred Aniretan, Andrew Igban, Delta State President, National Council of Women Societies, Mrs. Helen Tsitse Bobmanuel, who is also the National Coordinator, Ojogbojor Women in Politics, members of Isaba Women in Politics, Mr. Eugene Ebisin and Chief David Ugedi, were among stakeholders that expressed support for the Federal lawmaker’s second term bid.

The Deputy Chairman of PDP in Delta State, Barr. Ada Val Arenyeka and Chairman of PDP Warri South Local Government, Mr. Johnson Agbeyegbe, commended Chief Ereyitomi for, “his doggedness, robust representation and sagacity, in attracting federal government’s attention to Warri Federal Constituency”.
The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, the members representing Warri South Constituency I and II in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Augustine Uroye and Hon. Matthew Poko Opuoru, respectively as well as Chairman of all ward chairmen in Warri South PDP, Mr. Peter Tidi and other critical stakeholders from Warri South, expressed support for Chief Ereyitomi.
