Some traditional rulers in Delta State have lauded Union Bank of Nigeria PLC over new innovations/services which the bank has introduced to its operations.
The Delta Monarchs that gave the commendation are the Owhorode of Olomu Kingdom, HRM R. L. Ogbon, Ogoni-Oghoro 1, HRM Andrew Osakpa III, Ovie of Okparabe Kingdom, HRM Jabin Ogaga Oniesa, Okporufuoma of Ewu Kingdom and HRM, Matthew Egbri, Okoboro of Ughevwien Kingdom.
They gave the plaudits during the unveiling and launching of reliable, smarter and other new transformation services of Union Bank Nigeria PLC.
The Owhorode of Olomu Kingdom, Ogoni-Oghoro1 used the occasion to appeal to his subjects and customers to do business with Union Bank due to the upgrade in the bank’s services.
In his welcome address, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank Nigeria PLC, Emeka Emuwa explained that the reform in the bank is to re-launch their services to the entire country.
He enjoined the bank’s customers to come and enjoy the transformation services, just as he appreciated old customers of the bank for their patronage over the years and solicited for more patronage from potentially new customers.
Mr. Emuwa disclosed some of their new innovations to include mobile services, ATM, Internet Banking and other promos.
The Union Bank Chief Executive Officer also stated that the bank is currently doing the unveiling of its transformation smart and reliable services at three of their branches in Delta State, namely, Effurun, Ughelli and Sapele.
Earlier at Effurun branch of Union Bank, Chief Gbegbaje lauded Union Bank, Effurun branch for the transformation currently experienced, another customer, Engr. Pst. Tony Onaih encouraged Union Bank to open more branches nationwide and also have branches outside Nigeria in order to bridge the gap with its contemporaries.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that other customers who spoke during the launching of the unveiling of Union Bank transformation services known as smart and reliable both at Ughelli and Sapele expressed joy over the bank’s new innovations which have enhanced their operations all over the country.
