Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, is in a state of excitement, following feelers that the Delta State Election Petition Tribunal, has struck out the petition filed by the Delta State All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo - Agege against the election of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwrori of the PDP.
Though details of the Tribunal's ruling was sketchy as at the time of this report, Dr. Tidi, described the decision of the Tribunal as " confirmation of the mandate, majority of Deltans freely gave to our dear governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwrori."
Dr. Tidi, enjoined members of the opposition political parties to join hands with Governor Oborevwrori in " his resolve to fast - track the infrastructural and human capital development of Delta state."
