A political pressure group within the Peoples Democratic Party, Joseph Uwale Oribioye Network, has implored Christians, non - Christians and the entire people of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta state, to forgive one another immediately the need arises. In an Easter message titled " Let Peace Reign ", Joseph Uwale Oribioye Network, emphasized the need for mankind to embrace peace at all times and imbibe the exemplary life of Jesus Christ.
In the message made available to Fresh Angle International in the wee hours of today, Sunday March 31, the group which is pushing for the immediate past Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Joseph Oribioye to contest for the position of Chairman of Warri South Local Government in the forthcoming Delta State local government election, averred: "Jesus Christ the Son of the most high God, on this day over 2000 years ago conquered death and gave us life everlasting. Our Lord and saviour through his suffering and eventual death on the cross, a death he truly did not deserve but for our sins, he sacrificed his Princely throne in heaven, came down to earth and was humiliated, tortured and hung on the cross to die a shameful and miserable death, just for the sake of mankind.
"In this season of Easter, we implore all Christians, non Christians and all citizens of Warri South Local Government Area to embrace peace and imbibe the exemplary life of Christ. Though He is God, he became man for our sake, he taught us how to forgive, how to love, be our brother's keeper and above all He admonished us to seek peace with our brothers at all times.
"As we look unto God for His divine mercy, grace and restoration in our lives and in our homes, may we accept the teaching of Christ and know that as humans we are not perfect, we should always seek the face of Christ in all that we do and to forgive one another immediately the need arises.
"Our dear people of God ,let love leads.
"May the Risen Lord be our role model in all deeds.
"Wishing you a joyous and blessed Easter Celebration."
