Newly elected President-General of Uzere Clan in Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State, Barr. John Urete has pledged to attract development projects such as portable water and regular power supply to Uzere Kingdom.
Barr. John Urete made the pledge Wednesday December 28 at Uzere Town Hall shortly after his election as President-General of Uzere.
The legal practitioner for over 16 years and two-time Secretary of the oil-rich community, assured Uzere people that he will be very transparent in the running of the community affairs.
While stating that he will welcome useful suggestions from the people as it affects infrastructural development, Barr. Urete enjoined youths and others in the community to live in peace as well as unity, saying it’s necessary to attract meaningful development.
The new President-General pledged to assist in the completion of the building of a modern library in the community, just as he declared that Uzere Clan has 39 crude oil wells.

Anthony, Secretary General, Mr. Oghenejabor Orevaoghene, Sub Treasurer, Prophet Arima Ajiri, Auditor, Mr. Ezekiel Ekoko PRO, Mrs. Paulina Adanoje, Woman Rep, Ex. Officio, Mrs. Odenu Patricia, Woman Rep Ex. Officio and Mrs. Obonyano Edna, Woman Rep. Ex. Officio.
The election was conducted and witnessed by some officials from Isoko South Local Government Council. Okolosi Phillip and Supervisor for Health in the Council, Mr. Ogba
