The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli has inaugurated a fresh 18-man Koko Community Management Authority, KCMA to pilot internal affairs of the Warri North headquarters for the next three years.
Addressing members of the new KCMA to be chaired by Engr. David Esimaje Oniyeburutan, The Warri Monarch stressed that his 3-point policy which bars tenure elongation on community leadership, stopping anyone up to 40 years and above from youth activities as well as the fact that Olare-Aja (oldest person) must be someone resident in the community remains.

Atie-Secretary, Sarah Toritseju Asimah- Treasurer, Akira Fred Agbeyegbe-Vice Chairman, Greg Lucky Luma-PRO, Darlington Omona-Auditor, Duke Ijiringho-Member, Daniel Ebisanine-Member, Madam Roli Kpenosen-Member, Tsolaye Reden-Member, Tony Itseritseagba-Member, Amiwero Emmanuel-Member, Samuel Popo-Member, Richard Omonedo-Member, Charles Loko-Member, Joshua Oritsedere Asmah-Member, Samson Ewetan-Member and Oludewa Galasi-Member.

Fresh Angle International gathered that the 18-man KCMA were nominated by members of their various family lineage, Koko, in-line with the age-long principle governing the ancient town.
Dignitaries present at the inauguration include Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, Chief Mike Odeli, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju of the House of Representatives, the Commanding Officer of Army Base, Koko and the DPO of Koko Police station.
Responding, the new KCMA Chairman, Engr. David Esimaje Oniyeburutan, pledged to harmonize all interests in Koko as well as strive towards attracting investors to the historical town.
Meanwhile, members of the taskforce set up by the new KCMA have reportedly been attacked by mercenaries purportedly hired by the former KCMA leadership led by Jerry Atigan. They were allegedly attacked few days ago with machetes, battle axe and other dangerous weapons, leaving some members of the new taskforce injured, their properties stolen as well as vandalized.
One of the attackers has so far been arrested by the Police in Koko and he was said to have made useful statements as at the time of this report.
