The Bayelsa State Police Command has canvassed for partnership from Bayelsans to sustain the existing peace in the State.
This was contained in a press statement released by the State Police Command following the posting of a new Commissioner of Police, CP Asuquo Amba who takes over from CP Adeyemi
Ogunjemilusi that have proceeded to the National Institute For Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPS) Jos on a course.
According to the statement, CP Asuquo was the Commissioner of Police Inspectorate, Force Headquarters, Abuja and warned against any act capable of causing breach of the existing peace in the State.
Our Bayelsa State Correspondent reports that the Command enjoined citizens to continue with their lawful and legitimate duties and not to be apprehensive of the enhance visibility of security personnels in the State.
