A lawmaker in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Friday Sanni has berated the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for reconstituting another Screening Committee, describing the initiative as satanic and demonic.
Honourable Sanni who made the disclosure during an interactive session with Our Kogi State Correspondent in Lokoja expressed ‘vote of no confidence’ on the committee, stating that it was built on a wrong foundation.
Governor Yahaya Bello recently reconstituted a review committee to look into the issue of some un-cleared workers who are yet to receive salaries and have been pegged as ghost workers in the state.
The Lawmaker who is representing Igalamela in the State House of Assembly stated, “I do not believe that there is any committee that can work with a faulty document like the document before them now. When a committee does not have a foundation to operate how will they operate”.
He added, “I do not believe that the document which is already satanic, condemned by the entire representative of the people can be another subject of material for any other committee to work on. The outcome of whatever committee still going will be faulty, because the document before them is a faulty document”.
