Misinterpretation about Bangladesh Is Intentional

Attempts are being made to use the current situationregarding the quota reformation movement of Bangladesh in different ways.

The issue is being exaggerated and spread in the international arena beyond Bangladesh. We are even noticing polarization in the global arena. An attempt to create pressure against the Bangladesh government is already visible. This lobbying is engaged in the blueprint makers behind the quota movement. Already Dr. Muhammad Yunus made several negative comments about the situation in the country in an interview with The Hindu newspaper of India.

He even mentioned in that interview that he wished for foreign intervention. Several contrived interpretations have been noticed in Yunus' speech. He said that ordinary people are being killed on behalf of the government in Bangladesh. But if its context is not properly explained - it will not be fair. There is an event behind an event.

The agitators continued to pressure the Bangladesh government to solve the quota problem quickly. The government said that the matter will be settled in court. Even the agitators are urged to wait patiently till the court verdict. After this, several undesirable atmospheres were created around the position of the government and the position of the agitators. Students who had been peacefully protesting - suddenly misinterpreted a statement of the Prime Minister and staged a midnight protest demanding their razakars (traitors). In the Prime Minister's speech, the protesters were not called razakars(traitors) in any way. Someone has misunderstood them.Soon after, agitators clashed with law and order forces and government party student organizations based on several misunderstandings. Several casualties occurred. Immediately after this, the Prime Minister addressed the nation and promised to normalize the situation. However, a nefarious group conspired to politicize the movement and tried to embarrass the government. The conspirators attacked various important establishments across the country and carried out a terrible rampage. Even after this, the demand for the fall of the government was also raised.

It is to be noted that the complications related to quota have already been put to an end by the judgment of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court. Although the government accepted all the demands, the protestors continued to complete shut down across the country. After that, they are constantly coming forward with new demands.

At one point, the quota movement was capitalized on and the country's development was hit and the countrymen were made to panic. Law and order forces were also attacked. Brutally attacking and killing many RAB-Police across the country. At such a stage, miscreants had a massive clash with the law enforcement agencies of the country. In this situation, casualties increased. When the law and order situation worsened, the government was forced to deploy troops and impose a curfew. The decision to deploy the army was made to assist the civil administration. The government had no better option to protect the lives and property of the people of the country from the hands of miscreants. The law and order situation in the country gradually normalized after the army deployment and curfew.

So the decision to deploy troops and casualties is not deliberate. The government has been sincere enough for those who were killed. The government did not want any problem to be solved at the cost of people's lives. The government is not solely responsible for the events that occur due to circumstances. People of the country would not have had to suffer in such a situation if the conspirators had not diverted the quota movement. Even the government did not have to take such a hard-line decision. A near-reconciliation has gone awry at the hands of the conspirators - anyone can guess that. So a deep understanding of the matter makes it clear that there is no lack of sincerity on the part of the government. But one group is gradually engaged in a nefarious conspiracy to use the matter for political purposes.

It can be said that one of their goals is to undermine the image of the country to foreigners. When the gruesome attacks and arson occur - no one is left to understand that the attacks and rampages are purely politically motivated. Especially looking at the situation at that time, it could be assumed that a group wanted the situation to become more critical on the issue of the quota reform movement.

Dr. Yunus, in an interview with The Hindu newspaper, raised the demand for a new election in the country. Such a claim is by no means fair and reasonable. We know that the 12th parliamentary election was held in Bangladesh on January 7 this year. The election has already been accepted in international circles. Several parties in the country did not participate in that election. Even the BNP and its partner parties decided to resist the election. Even then, about 42% of the voters participated in the election and gave the mandate to the present government.

Several parties in Bangladesh, especially the Jamaat-BNP, has not been in state power for a long time. For thisreason, they are doing lobbying with foreigners in various ways. Earlier also in 2022-23, they continued such lobbying. Now those who are involved in the international conspiracy around the quota reform movement of Bangladesh. Their main aim is to influence the international community. Various negative news regarding present situation of Bangladesh has already beenpublished in the foreign media. Various influential groups and individuals, especially members of civil society likeDr. Yunus, who maintain close ties with countries, are doing this lobbying. Yunus is unhappy for many reasonson Bangladesh government. And for this, he is keeping in touch with the diplomats of different countries of the world on the current issue of Bangladesh. Even in this case, domestic and foreign influencers have continued to use the media. It is in no way acceptable to refer the internal issues of the country to foreigners in this way. Trying to make the country a puppet of foreigners is not good for the countrymen.
