Ughelli North: Supervisors-Designate await inauguration, after undergoing legislative screening

The five Supervisor-nominees; Hon. Eric Osiobe, Hon. Egbinine Enomate Daniel, Hon. Lucky Oborayiruvbe Emejuma, Hon. Eyamu Edmund and Hon. Efemena Ushere, whose names were forwarded to the Ughelli North Council Legislative Arm, have scaled through Legislative screening, awaiting swearing in by the Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Olorogun Jaro Egbo.

Recall that their names were transmitted to the Legislative Arm, Tuesday August 13, by Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, in a letter titled; “Appointment of Supervisors for the Ughelli North Local Government.”

Our Ughelli North Bureau Chief, reports that in Accordance with the Constitutional provisions, the 8th Assembly of the Ughelli North Legislative Arm, led by Rt Hon. Ajero Okeoghene Prosper Kelly, screened and confirmed the five Supervisor-Nominees, during plenary held Thursday August 15 at the legislative Chamber of the Council.

Leader of Ughelli North Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Ajero Okeoghene Prosper, affirmed the validation of the Supervisors-Designate, following a unanimous declaration by members of the Legislative Arm.

Rt. Hon. Prosper, averred: "Having met the necessary requirements, without any impediment and following the majority support of the Honourable House, I hereby declare that the following persons (Hon. Eric Osiobe, Hon. Egbinine Enomate Daniel, Hon. Lucky Oborayiruvbe Emejuma, Hon. Eyamu Edmund and Hon. Efemena Ushere) are eminently qualified to serve as Supervisor of various departments in the local Government Council".
