Seplat Energy, formerly known as Seplat Petroleum Development Company, says one thousand, three hundred and thirty-four (1,334) teachers have benefitted from its Teachers Empowerment Programme, STEP, since inception.
This disclosure was extracted this morning, Thursday February 27 by Fresh Angle International from the verified X handle of Seplat.
According to the company, STEP, was designed to promote teachers’ creative thinking, provide training on teaching applications for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, STEAM.
STEP, is also expected to provide leadership and self-improvement training, allow for higher student engagement and offer a well-rounded education for recipients of the programme.
