Leaders from various chapters of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, across Delta South, on Friday April 25, converged at the Warri South Main Secretariat in Warri, Delta State, for a leadership meeting aimed at aligning visions and promoting regional development.
Addressing the gathering, former State Chairman of NYCN, Dr. Hope George, emphasized the importance of unity among members.
He called on all stakeholders to work together, rise above divisions, and see themselves as one united body, with a shared mission to empower the youth of Delta South.
“We must put aside differences and work in the spirit of oneness
“Only through peace, collaboration, and mutual respect can we make meaningful progress in the lives of our young people”, Dr. George, stated.

The meeting provided a platform for leaders to share insights, review ongoing initiatives, and chart a course for future programs that will make a lasting impact across Delta South communities.
The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, in his keynote remarks, told the stakeholders that his office, is always open for matters concerning the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN and challenged the youths to play crucial role in nation building.

He stated that youths are akin to the vertebral column in the human body, saying when the vertebral column is out of alignment, the body becomes ineffective.

Edwin Afejuku, Yakubu Milkallu, Lawal Ibrahim, Amb.Coka Joe as well as other members of Warri South Chapter executive.
The gathering marked a significant step toward building a more united and effective NYCN across Delta South—driven by peace, shared purpose, and a collective commitment to youth development.
