Environmentalist and Itsekiri rights advocate, Ojumude Tosan Bishop, says the conferment of the Royal Order of Iwere, ROI on Dr. Godwin Toritseju Ebosa by the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, “is a powerful testament to Hon. Ebosa’s outstanding service, unwavering commitment to the Itsekiri people, exceptional contributions to human capital development, and his enduring impact on the growth, development, and prestige of Warri Kingdom.”

Ojumude, made the assertion in a terse statement Wednesday December 17, shortly after the Warri Monarch conferred the former Warri North Local Government Chairman with the Royal honour.

While describing the honour as well deserved, Ojumude prayed that the distinguished royal recognition, would inspire Dr. Ebosa to greater service to humanity, continued dedication to leadership, and sustained commitment to the preservation and advancement of the revered heritage of the Itsekiri people.
