The Itsekiri Leaders of Thought, ILOT, has expressed grieve, following the passing of one of its prominent members, Engr. Victor Wood.
Engr. Wood, a former Executive Director, Research, Planning and Statistics in the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, reportedly passed in Lagos, Thursday April 2 after a protracted illness.
Chairman and Secretary of ILOT, Chief Edward Ekpoko and Sir Amorighoye Sunny Mene, respectively, in a statement Friday April 3, described the late Engr. Wood as an accomplished professional in the oil and gas industry as well as a patriotic Itsekiri, who served Itsekiri Nation with his resources.
Whilst condoling members of the Wood family for the loss, the Itsekiri leaders expressed optimism that the legacy of late Engr. Victor Wood, would continue to impact positively on the younger generation of Itsekiris.
