The All Progressives Congress, APC Returning Officer for Warri Federal Constituency, Mrs. Pat Ajudua, has described the primary held in Warri Federal Constituency, Saturday May 16, as the most peaceful across the federal constituencies in Delta State.
Our Principal Correspondent, reports that Mrs. Ajudua, who presided over the primary, which was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared Chief Thomas Ereyitomi as winner of the primary, securing the APC ticket to re -contest the Warri Federal Constituency Seat in the 2027 elections.
Chief Ereyitomi, reportedly defeated the APC candidate for Warri Federal Constituency in the 2023 elections, Dr. Ekpoto Ekpoto Emmanuel.
The Warri traditional chief, was said to have won the primary in the 32 federal wards that make up Warri Federal Constituency.
Whilst reacting to the victory, the federal lawmaker, thanked party faithful for their massive support, promising to do more for the constituency, if re-elected in the 2027 polls.
