Demands for original result sheet by enthusiastic members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, chanting solidarity songs for Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema, stalled the APC House of Assembly primary for Ekurede- Ugbori- Ugbuwangue ward, which was scheduled to hold Wednesday May 20 at Ogiame Primary School, Warri.

The prospective voters, who vowed not to allow a repeat of what happened Monday during the Senatorial Primary of the party, said they were given plain paper as result sheet during the Senatorial Primary on Monday May 18, wherein counted votes were recorded, only for them to see results from the party leadership later in the day, on result sheet bearing the APC logo and the result was contrary to what was declared and signed by the aspirants' agents at  Ogiame Primary School.

The APC Presiding Officer assigned to conduct the primary at Ogiame Primary School and the INEC official, had to be escorted from the voting centre by some community leaders, relations and associates.

Agent of Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema, Mr. Tuoyo Ofuyaekpone, who addressed the large crowd of supporters of Hon. Edema, declared that the House of Assembly primary in Ekurede - Ugbori - Ugbuwangue Ward, didn't hold, because they resisted alleged attempts to manipulate the process in favour of Dr. Augustine Uroye.
