Renowned philanthropist and political stakeholder, Amb. Coach Gabriel Abinu, has hosted key stakeholders from the 14 polling units in Ward A, Lokongoma axis of Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, to strategise on how to secure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that Abinu, who reaffirmed his commitment to the success of the ruling party, said the meeting was aimed at strengthening the party at the grassroots and ensuring that APC records a resounding victory at the presidential, National Assembly and State Assembly elections in Lokoja Local Government Area.
Addressing the stakeholders through his representative, Comrade Shaibu Bello, Abinu commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as his administration’s efforts to transform the country and reposition Nigeria for sustainable development.
He urged APC members and supporters to take the achievements of the Tinubu administration to the grassroots, saying the party’s success in 2027 would depend largely on effective mobilisation and unity among its members.
According to him, “The 2027 general election is about all of us in the APC. We are going to secure victory for our party from top to bottom.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done well, and we must rally around him, take our campaign to the grassroots and ensure that his achievements are properly communicated to the people.”
Abinu also commended Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, for what he described as exemplary leadership and his efforts to promote unity and development across the state.
“I must also commend our leader and performing Governor, Usman Ododo, for making us proud and doing his best to transform Kogi State. Under his administration, Kogites are becoming more united, irrespective of political affiliations or ethnic backgrounds,” he said.
The philanthropist further declared his support for the governor’s political ambition, stressing that APC stakeholders in the state must remain united and focused.
“Let it be stated clearly that there is no vacancy in Lugard House. We will continue to support Mr President and Governor Ododo to enable them succeed and secure another term in office,” Abinu stated.
He called on party members to work together, shun internal divisions and ensure that every polling unit is effectively mobilised ahead of the 2027 elections.
Amb. Coach Abinu, however, has appointed two canvassers for each polling unit across the 14 units in the Lokongoma axis of Lokoja, Kogi State.
