We will tackle harassment of investors, Delta Community Youth leadership vows

The newly inaugurated 15-member National executive of Tisun Committee of Youths, Warri North Local Government Area in Delta State, has vowed that it will tackle all forms of molestation, harassment, intimidation and extortion of contractors as well as other investors ready to do business in the oil-rich community.

New Chairman of Tisun National Youth executive, Odatuwa Odoryo E.F. who gave the assurance Thursday April 27 in Warri during their inauguration by Chairman of Tisun Management Council, Mr. Joseph Alikpoma, assured that all indigenes of the community will be given everything that is due to them in the next four years that the administration’s tenure will last.

While calling on business owners to invest in Tisun due to the peaceful disposition of its indigenes, Odatuwa Odoryo promised that his leadership will ensure that resources accruing to the community will be judiciously utilized.

Chairman of Tisun Management Council, Mr. Joseph Alikpoma in a remark enjoined the community youth new leadership to carry everybody along in their administration and avoid acts capable of truncating the prevailing peace in the community.

Secretary of Tisun Management Council, Comrade David Odeli admonished Oath of Office to the youth leadership in the presence of Olare-Aja of Tisun Community, Pa. Godwin Jemide.

Our Correspondent reports that other members of the 15-member executive of Tisun National Committee of Youths are: Mr. George Odonmeta-Vice Chairman, Joseph Jemine-Secretary, Stephen Etsano-Assistant Secretary, Wilson French-Treasurer, Presley Awanobi-Financial Secretary, Austine Omaro-member, Blessing Ikpere- member, Mebije Wilfred-Member, Jacob Omajugho-member, Austine Ajoghanrantan-member, Matthew Mene- member, Oritse-Tsolube Uwangbajuwu-member and Joseph Atsebinoma-member.
