The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli at about 5pm Thursday May 25 held a closed door meeting with Ag. President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa over abandoned federal projects in Warri Kingdom, Fresh Angle International has learned.
The Warri Monarch who was accompanied by prominent Warri Chiefs such as J.T.Y. Pessu, Brown Mene, Ayirimi Emami, Chief Leemon A. Ikpea, the member representing Warri Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, veteran Engineer, Alex Neyin and a member of the Warri Royal Family, Prince Yemi Emiko, prayed for the speedy recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari who is on medical vacation in the UK.

Our Source disclosed that issues brought before Ag. President Osinbajo by the Olu of Warri includes: the abandoned Gas Revolution Industrial Project, GRIP, Ogidigben in Warri South -West Local Government Area, the abandoned coastline communities' electricity project in Escravos area, the age-long issue of Koko Ogheye Road, Omadino Okerenghigho Road, dredging of the Escravos Bar/Warri River to boost commercial activities at the Warri Port and the revitalization of the comatose Koko Port.
The Monarch reportedly spoke on the importance of the projects to the Nation's economy and the Niger Delta in particular and enjoined the federal government to recommence work on the projects.
Ag. President Osinbajo who allegedly gave assurances regarding the issues raised by the Olu of Warri, purportedly stated that concessioning of the ports will adequately address the comatose Koko Port.
Fresh Angle International also gathered that the respected Warri King later held a private meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at Transcop Hilton Abuja, even as the Olu of Warri's delegation is expected to return to Warri on Friday May 26.
