Forty years old physically challenged beggar with five kids, Mr. Samuel Ebireri says he will stop begging if he is able to get a tricycle from the state government to enable him fend for his family.
Mr. Ebireri who is from Ovu Community in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State said he started begging as a result of stigmatization from his peers when he was in SS3 many years ago.
Mr. Ebireri who begs to survive along NNPC Housing Complex road, Ekpan admitted that begging is very demeaning and appealed to Dr. Uduaghan to assist him with a tricycle so that he can fend for his family.
A female physically challenged beggar , Nnena Uche with an eight month old baby, Chukwuemeka from Ebonyi State said unless Delta State government come to her aid, she will not leave begging.
Nnena Uche who is always by the T-junction near Delta Careers College, Ugboroke along Airport Road in Warri said begging became an option for her since she had no helper within and out of her family.
Uche who is from Ebonyi State before she came to Delta State early this year said the father of her eight months old is one wheel barrow pusher ,Mr. Ogbonnaya in Cross Rivers State.
Nnena Uche is being supported in a wheel chair by her fourteen- year old younger sister, Chinasa said she was born physically challenged.
