The Cleric in-Charge of The Apostolic Church of Nigeria, Ganaja Assembly, Lokoja, Kogi State, Pastor Joshua Ibitomi, says members of the church are fasting and praying for a violence free election in the forth-coming Kogi State Governorship poll.
Our Kogi State Correspondent reports that Pastor Ibitomi made the statement Sunday September 22, during the 15th anniversary Spiritual Service of Songs of The Apostolic Church of Nigeria, Ganaja Assembly, Lokoja, Kogi State.
The congregation sang songs of praises to God and prayed for peaceful and non-violent exercise ahead of the November 16 election.

According to him, the manipulation of evil ones shall not prevail in the state, stressing that, God will liberate the people from those who intend to cause havoc before, during and after the gubernatorial polls.
The Cleric stressed that, Kogites should come together and see themselves as one, irrespective of their political, ethnic or religious differences, adding that leaders across the state should continue to talk to their wards on the need to achieve a peaceful poll.
Pastor Ibitomi urged members to pray against bloodshed and for the will of God to prevail over Kogi State.
