Edo North Senatorial: Alimikheha unveils blueprint
Retired Major Francis Alimikhena

APC Senatorial candidate in Edo North, Retired Major Francis Alimikhena has formerly presented his development blueprint for the people of Edo North Senatorial district saying that the blue print can be use as his appraiser list to examine him and judge his performance when voted as a Senator in the forth coming election.

Presenting  copies of the blue  print to cross  section of supporters and chiefs  at the Club three ward comprising Agbede, Anwai and Jagbe all in Etsako West Local Government Area, the retire major assured the people that he will bring back the glory of the Senatorial district if elected.

According to him, “the strength to deliver on my promises is not coming from my physical capacity but an indomitable will.”

Alimikhena who spoke in Etsako language, called on all leaders in Edo North to look closely and stand up for what is fair, right and just. I count on you all to join me in this door to door outreach in order to secure my victory in the poll. I am in this race to re-invigorate the machinery of government to achieve a wider spectrum in terms of development in Edo North.

Legislating is a serious business he said, and we need a representative that has the aggression, passion and dynamism to lobby in favor of Edo People. Being a Senator is beyond youth and women empowerment. Deliberate effort must be made to attract federal presence and institutions as well as bring to an end our ecological menace in this area. I am the most qualified person to go to the senate because it is my nature to develop.

The Senatorial hopeful counted his major achievement in his Etsako East Local Government Area to include building of the only Health Center in Igiode, building of the biggest Catholic Church, Electricity, Road Construction, Building of Schools, Borehole among others. “These were the things I did with my personal resources without being in government. “ Now, with government fund I will do much more.

Addressing market women and farmers in the area, Barrister Alimikhena reaffirm his commitment in giving out revolving loan to all farmers, traders, and his regular scholarship program for student in order to develop the human capacity of Edo North youth in facing the demanding future challenges.

He called for decorum among the PDP and SDP candidate in Edo North saying that they should run an issue based campaign rather than personality attack. He advises them and their supporters to defect to the APC in order to chat a common course for Edo North people.

Expressing his view of democracy to the people, the retired major general said “I would not be a slave at the National Assembly just as I would not be a master to my leaders and electorate. I am in this race to serve you and not to lord you. I am not an accidental candidate. I have been consistent in seeking this Senatorial seat in the past years because I want to show you people the duty of a Senator and let you know how to be a Senator, he added.
