You entrusted me in 2019, together, we rise again - Ogedegbe tells Warri South II Constituents ahead 2027 polls

Former member of Warri South Local Government Council Legislative Arm, Hon. Romeo Ogedegbe, has hinted of his plans to contest for the Warri South Constituency II seat in the 2027 polls, recalling how he was " entrusted " by the constituents when he vied for same seat in 2019.

Hon. Ogedegbe, in a syndicated electronic statement titled " there is still hope and the journey continues" noted that even though the 2019 outcome did not crown his push and efforts of his supporters, it did not silence their conviction.

He said: "THERE IS STILL HOPE, AND THE JOURNEY CONTINUES In 2019, you entrusted me with your voices, your dreams, and your belief that a new kind of leadership was possible.

“Though the outcome did not crown our efforts, it did not silence our conviction. Hope was not defeated, it was planted.

“Today, I return, not as a stranger, but as one of you. I have walked your roads, heard your concerns, shared your struggles, and carried your aspirations in my heart. The years since have strengthened my resolve, deepened my understanding, and refined my commitment to true grassroots representation.

“Leadership is not defined by a single election; it is defined by consistency, courage, and connection with the people.

“Our story did not end in 2019, it only paused for preparation. The same vision remains. The same passion burns. The same promise stands.

“There is still Hope, and together, we rise again. #iRepHope #GodOverEverything #2027.”
