Self-acclaimed veteran litigant, Mr. Oritseweyinmi Emmanuel Agbonekuya Aginejuone, popularly known as Emma Lagos, said he has gone to court to challenge the inclusion of Uwakeno and four other communities in OML 150 Communities’ Consultative Forum.
In a series of voice notes sent to Fresh Angle International, Monday March 23, Mr. Aginejuone, who is the immediate past Secretary of OML 150 Communities’ Consultative Forum, claimed that Uwakeno is sitting in Omadino land, hence any letter sent to Conoil or any other company from Uwakeno and the other four unnamed communities, is illegal.
Whilst stating that he sees legal battle as glorious business, Mr. Aginejuone, challenged the present Chairman of OML 150 Communities’ Consultative Forum, to come up with legal documents to ascertain Uwakeno’s claim to the land.
“You can't build illegality on illegality, every letter being sent to any company, including Conoil, by any group or government, in the name of Uwakeno, is illegal. I challenge it by our court judgement, ignorance is not an excuse to the law.
“Those who recommended Omadino representatives to Conoil, are illegal, they were not the persons that recommended me in the first place, they should check the recommendation”, Mr. Aginejuone, emphasized.
