Vociferous Itsekiri female group, Voice of Warri Kingdom Women Initiative, has appealed to the Federal Government to decentralize the pipeline surveillance contracts, saying they don’t need the operations of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited in Iwereland (Itsekiri land).
President of Voice of Warri Kingdom Women Initiative, Mrs. Vivian Eric Mene, in a footage sent to Fresh Angle International, Wednesday March 11, said security agents and people of the host communities, should be awarded contracts to guide pipelines within their areas.
According to her, there are security companies, vibrant youths, leaders and mothers in Itsekiri Nation, capable of executing the pipeline security jobs in Itsekiri communities.
While stating that they have nothing against High Chief Government Ekpemupolo and his pipeline security company, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Mrs. Mene, vowed: “For safety purpose, we will not allow Tantita access our communities again, because of what Tantita did to us last year, that is why we are saying, no to Tantita in Warri Kingdom.”
