The Delta State Chapter of Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria, ACNPN, has thrown its weight behind the information management strategy of Delta State Commissioner of Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, saying the commissioner’s approach is promoting development that encourages inclusive governance across grassroots in the state.
Position of the publishers is sequel to a statement signed by the State Chairman of ACNPN, Mr. Jude Obiemyego, Secretary-Mercy Akuba, PRO-Cyprian Ebagwu and 27 members.
According to ACNPN, Mr. Charles Aniagwu rose from the position of Chief Press Secretary to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa to Delta State Commissioner of Information, “because of his track record”.
The statement noted that, Mr. Aniagwu, “ensured that all publishers come under one umbrella since 2017 till date”.
