Seadogs condoles with Itsekiri Nation on the demise of Warri Monarch


The National Association of Seadogs, NAS, Xkravos Deck has condole with the Itsekiri people as part of their community relations programme in their area of operation as they paid a condolence visit to the regent, families members, Chiefs and the Olu of Warri designate on the demise of His Majesty, Atuwatse II and the emergence of Prince Godfrey Ikenwoli Emiko as the Olu of Warri designate.

NAS a.k.a Pyrates Confraternity led by the president of the Warri Chapter (Xcravos Deck) Mr. Sunday Afiuwa, members of his executives and some senior members of the Elders’ Forum (Tsunamis and Tbs) said the visit is in line with one of their cardinal principle of Comradeship and Chivalry.

Chairman of the Elders’ Forum, Barr. Misan Ukubeyinje and spokesman for the team said at the palace in Warri, Delta State that wherever the Confraternity exists and there is need for a helping hand, the Pyrates Confraternity must be the first to render their assistance within that jurisdiction and cited many cases of their voluntary services in the oil City.

He expressed their deep show of concern and hearth felt sympathy with the regent and the entire Itsekiri people on the demise of the late Atuwatse II and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost, even as he applauded the Itsekiri nation on a quick, rancor free and successful emergence of a new Olu of Warri designate.

Speaking during the visit to both the regent, Prince Eroro Emiko and the Olu designate, Prince Godfrey Ikenwoli Emiko, Chiefs Emma Jones and Roland Omagbemi thanked the Pyrates Confraternity for the visit, saying that they know the organization as people of very high intelligence and quality in the society, saying they are very willing to partner with them in the burial and coronation ceremonies ahead to tap from their wide and varied experience.

They said the palace would require massive assistance during the period and appealed to the association to be ready to assist when called upon.

Barr. Ukubeyinje assured that they would be ready to offer their services within the limits of their capacity when required and appreciated the regent and Olu designate for receiving them warmly.

Amongst the NAS Xkravos team that visited are Mr. Felix Gbiwen, Emiko Dore, Emiko Tunde, Eugene Eyube, Augustine Okene and Emmanuel Yemiete. Others are Atariata Abednego, Okotie Charles, Toyin Uwajamomere, Bakpa Samuel, Tosanwunmi Godfrey, Arubi Emmanuel and Felix Uku respectively.
