Warri: Fabrication in progress, we’ll start seeing activities on the bridge, Island in the next two weeks - Edema reveals

The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area Property and Investment Development Board, Barrister Tsewo Edema, has revealed that fabrication of materials to be used as stand for the 60-meter bridge to be constructed at Ifie-kporo Community, Warri by the Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac administration, was in progress, adding that in another two weeks, people will start seeing activities on the bridge and the about-to-be-constructed Island.

The bridge, will connect the Island, which would have affordable housing and other basic amenities found in a smart city.

Barr. Tsewo, who made the disclosure Friday January 24, when he led other members of Warri South Local Government Area Property and Investment Development Board to the bridge take-off point at Ifie-kporo in Warri South Local Government Area, assured that the Council, has set-up machineries in place to ensure that construction work goes on simultaneously at the Island and the bridge.

The Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre, who plays advisory role in the Board, assured that the Comr. Agbateyiniro administration, has already created enabling environment for the twin projects to take off smoothly.

Hon. Edafiadjebre, who spoke at the project site, noted that the bridge and the Island, will benefit people of the immediate and surrounding communities.
