Sixteen billion, four hundred and thirty-nine million, two hundred and fifty-two thousand, five hundred and one naira, forty-one kobo (N16,439,252,501.41) representing 66.70% as capital estimate and seven billion, eight hundred and eighty-one million, nine hundred and twenty-four thousand, seven hundred and seventy-two naira, four kobo, (N7,881,924,772.04) representing 33.30% for recurrent expenditure, was on Thursday January 30, passed into law by the Warri South Legislative Arm, as Warri South Local Government Council 2025 Appropriation.

The Draft Estimate, totalling twenty-four billion, three hundred and twenty-one million, one hundred and seventy-seven thousand, two hundred and seventy-three naira, forty-five kobo (N24,321,177,273.45) is christened “Budget of Crystallization.”

The Leader of Warri South Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Joy Numeme Ejumudo, who presided over plenary after Committee of the whole House, did critical review of the report submitted by the Hon. Solomon Temile led House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, directed the Clerk of Warri South Legislative Arm, Comr. Affor Godfrey Maku, to transmit the 2025 Appropriation Byelaw to the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, for his Assent.

The House, also passed the following Byelaws; A Bye Law Providing the Procedure Enforcement and Punishment of Road Traffic Violation in Warri South Local Government, Bye-law to Prohibit the Indiscriminate Dumping of Refuse and Waste Littering In Warri South Local Government Area, sponsored by Hon. Tuoyo Ebigbeyi, with Hon. (Chief) Eghere Udumetotor, Hon. Felix Ojulu and Hon. Terence Eriye Erere as co sponsors. The Council’s Legislature, also passed the Bye law "Providing the Procedure For Collection And Enforcement Of Revenue Accruable To Wari South Local Government Council".

The Majority Leader of Warri South Legislative Arm, Hon. Tuoyo Ebigbeyi, during plenary on Thursday January 30, also sponsored a Bill, For Bye-Law to Prohibit Pasting Of Posters On Road Separator Kerbs, Beautification On Round A-Bouts, Road Pavements, Pedestrian, And Flyover Bridges In Warri South Local Government Area.

The Bill, which was co sponsored by Hon. Sammy Eyekpimi, Hon. Patrick Oneyor and Hon. Thompson Eyomi, passed first, second reading and was sent to the relevant committee for further consideration.

Hon. Ebigbeyi, while presenting motion on the Bill, explained that it became necessary to complement what the Council Chairman, Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, are doing to improve on the aesthetics of Warri South Local Government Area.
