Governing Council passes vote of confidence on chairman

Sequel to the resolutions taken by the Ewein Congress of Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri Kingdom in Delta state, members of the executive of Governing Council at a well attended meeting has passed a vote of confidence on its chairman, Barr. Alex Akemotubo over his “sterling leadership qualities and manner in which he has vibrantly handled the affairs of the Council till date”.

The Ogbe-Ijoh Governing Council which is the highest administrative body of the kingdom in a statement signed by nine (9) principal members, which include: Aaron Oweizi-Ebiye, Assistant Secretary,Richard Nuweigbeyoor, Treasurer; Jerry Dedetolu, Financial Secretary, Custom Omare, Tombra Oyimi, Godwin Okusu and Ikimi Samuel as members, pledged their continued loyalty to the Comrade Alex Akemotubo-led council.

They promised that the council would partner with companies and government agencies in their area of operations, noting that the Vice-Chairman, Mr. Sylvester Tiebibedigha and Godwin Eniegha stand suspended indefinitely from the council for alleged gross misconduct, even as it stated council resolve to dissolve and re-appoint all Community Liaison Officers, CLOs.
