Prominent Warri based politician and stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Kenneth Efejuku has taken a swipe at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, saying within just two years in office, the APC led Federal Government has awarded the dredging and pilling of the Itsekiri ancestral home, Ode-Itsekiri, Orugbo and its adjourning communities, accusing PDP of not bringing any meaningful development to Itsekiri coastal communities for 16 years it held power at the centre.

Hon. Efejuku made the declaration Thursday April 20 at Ode-Itsekiri and Orugbo communities in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, when members of the All Progressives Congress campaign train for the April 26 Warri South Constituency 1 Bye-Election visited both communities.

He appealed to the massive crowd, which includes leaders and representatives from other neighbouring coastal communities like Ajigba, Usele and Ugbodede to vote enmasse for the APC Candidate, Prince Stanley Emiko come Wednesday April 26.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that Prince Stanley Emiko reassured people of Warri South Constituency 1 that if given the mandate, he will attract meaningful projects to the Constituency through qualitative legislation.

He extolled the leadership qualities of Chief Ayirimi Emami and praised him for personally funding the ferry of teachers and students to Ode-Itsekiri since after the Warri crisis, noting that it is a testament of what the APC led government represents.

The Olare-Aja of Ode-Itsekiri, Pa. Botosan Ofoni Bibi, Olare-Aja of Ajigba, Pa. Austin Oribioye, the Olare-Aja of Usele, Pa. Samuel Lori and Deputy Olare-Aja of Orugbo Community, Pa.
