Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited, HEOSL, operators of Oil Mining Lease OML30 has earmarked hundreds of millions to execute “Quick-Win” infrastructural projects across its host communities in Delta State.
Mr. Funkakpo Fufeyin, Manager, Government/Community Relations, HEOSL, disclosed this Thursday October 26 at Agbarho town hall at a stakeholders meeting with 24 host communities in Cluster 10 and assured that Heritage will maintain a good relationship with the host communities in OML30.
He said “as Heritage, we are business minded to profit in a peace, friendly environment to generate revenue for the Federal Government, State and Local Governments. And the major beneficiaries are the host communities in OML30. Also, we are holding all communities very important to our operations, we shall work together and benefit together”.
Fufeyin, responded to questions and issues raised by communities, noting that Heritage is determined and ready to review its GMoU with the host communities and develop more profitable Corporate Social Responsibility to benefit the host communities.
Earlier, the Chairman of Cluster 10, Mr. Ibuje O. Joe, in his speech appealed to Heritage to revive the moribund Multi-Million Naira Shell-Farm at Oviri-Agbarho to create more employment, food security in-line with the Federal Government's diversification and agricultural policy.
