It is no longer news that 130 cult members who were among several others terrorizing Ughelli town, headquarters of Ughelli North local government recently renounced their membership, but Fresh Angle has reliably gathered that the decision of the repentant cultists is sequel to a shoot- at- sight order of the Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom, HRM. Wilson Ojakovo and members of the Joint Task Force.
Feelers from Ughelli reveals that the shoot-at-sight order came after a five-day indigenous sensitization and public enlightenment in major streets as well as communities in the town from the palace of the monarch.
It is in a bid to avoid a possible waterloo that about 130 cultists renounced their membership of various cult groups at a special service held in the palace of the Ughelli monarch under the auspices of Rainbow Concerned, Ughelli Kingdom.
Fresh Angle gathered that some of the items dropped by the cultists are knives, battle axe, vests bearing the names of their various cults and identity cards.
The Ughelli monarch reportedly told the repentant cultists not to return to their evil ways to enable them attain their desired heights in the Kingdom.
