A former House of Assembly hopeful and Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, Barr. Richard Omare has joined thousands of his Itsekiri kinsmen and other Nigerians to felicitate with the newly crowned Olu of Warri, Prince Godfrey Ikenwoli Emiko, describing the events that led to his choice as well as coronation as a testament of the power of destiny.
Barr. Richard Omare whose company, Ashi-Rich Nigeria Limited undertakes Civil, Mechanical and Marine Services of any magnitude, expressed optimism that the prevailing peace and unity which the emergence of the new Olu of Warri has brought both within Itsekiris as well as her neighbours, holds great promise for Warri Kingdom under the reign of the new Olu of Warri.
Barr. Omare, a former Warri North Coordinator of The Core-Group, a very powerful political pressure group in the PDP, noted that the infrastructural facelift already recorded at Ode-Itsekiri, the traditional headquarters of the Itsekiri people in Warri South Local Government Area since the new Olu was unveiled, is a sign that the hitherto neglected riverine communities of Itsekiri people will witness the much desired infrastructural and socio-economic development.
