The immediate House of Representatives candidate of All Progressives Congress APC in Patani/Bomadi Federal Constituency, Delta State, Hon. Tamunokro Obriki has thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu and Chief Government Ekpemupolo for the appointment of Dr. Dennis Otuaro as Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).
He said the choice and appointment of Otuaro for the position is a square peg in square hole.
Obriki in a statement on Saturday in Abuja, said, “ President Bola Ahmed Tinubu got this one super right. I want to thank Mr. President for appointing a competent hand finally to manage and administer the affairs of the presidential amnesty programe”
“ With this development the President has taken the words of the Ancient roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, and I quote, “ real peace is not just the absence of conflict but the presence of justice and fair play. Dr Dennis Otuaro’s appointment has corrected the marginalization of Delta State in holding this office”
The APC chieftain noted, “ This will bridge the gap of federal appointments to the APC family in Delta South senatorial district which I am a senior stakeholder. Because Dr. Otuaro is a committed APC member, we as Ijaw leaders in the party wish to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the indefatigable National Security Adviser and the moses of our time, sultan of the maritime geography of the Niger Delta, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo for this development”
