Barely four days to the January 6, 2018 Delta State Local Government election, the Mega Progressive People’s Party, MPPP Councillorship candidate for Ode-Ugborodo ward 5 in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Itse Elijah Wilkie has assured people of his constituency of “robust and courageous representation”.
The councillorship hopeful, Wilkie who read Anatomy at Delta State University, Abraka and a “graduate student of the United Nations sponsored post graduate course in Public Health, University of Benin”, promised to sponsor bills on health care delivery for the people of Warri South-West Local Government Area “who are exposed to health hazards as a result of their exposure to oil exploration and harsh weather condition”.
Itse Wilkie in an exclusive online chat with Fresh Angle International Tuesday January 2, stressed, “I’m focused, determined and believe that I will add value to the delivery of the dividends of democracy to the people”.
While expressing optimism that the forthcoming local government election will be free and fair, Wilkie who is a motivational speaker, expressed confidence that he will emerge victorious, saying “Okowa needs credibility report that his administration conducted free and fair Local Government election”.
