Delta Base 5 Commander of Counter Terrorism Unit, CTU, Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP, Jibrin Ibrahim has commended the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris over what he described as the Police Boss’ professional leadership, particularly in terms of providing an enabling environment for officers and men of the Nigerian Police to perform their duties.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that CSP Ibrahim gave the commendation at Jeddo in Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State when he organized a New Year party to celebrate gallant officers and men/their wives under his command.

He noted that the essence of the New Year bash was to boost the moral and commitment of officers and men under his command in the discharge of their duties.

The CTU Commander praised wives of the officers/men of the Base which covers Edo, Delta and Bayelsa States for the support they are giving to their hubbies and enjoined them to sustain it with prayers.

He opined that the yuletide get-together will further unite the officers and men with their friends, wives as well as well-wishers, just as he admonished them to remain loyal and dedicated to the Nigeria Police.

The Second-In-Command of CTU Delta Base 5, SP Obios John, commended CSP Ibrahim “for being the first Commander to organize such a party for officers/men and their wives as well as friends”, saying there wasn’t any negative report concerning officers and men of the command in the performance of their duty throughout 2017.

The Women Leader of CTU Delta Base 5, Mrs. Salome Anthony while describing CSP Ibrahim as a true father to those working under him, assured him of 6the support of wives of the officers/men in the course of their duty.

Officers who spoke included ASP E Peter, Aminu and Sgt. Anthony Unaegbu.
